Notice - The Board of Selectmen will be meeting on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 8:00 am with Moriarty Electric to discuss installing a generator at the Town Hall.
Shapleigh Dog Owners - Dog licenses are currently due. Maine State Law requires each owner/keeper of a dog(s) at the age of 6 months or over be licensed in the Municipal Clerk's office in the Town where the dog is kept. On-line service available at www.doglicensing.com A $25.00 late fee will be applied after January 31, 2018. Please provide proof of current rabies vaccination. Fire permits - Effective immediately fire permits for the Town of Shapleigh may be issued Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm at the Public Safety Building, 506 Shapleigh Corner Road, Shapleigh - phone 207-636-2211. Personnel will be available to issue permits if they are not on an emergency call. Saturday - Sunday - you may contact the Fire Warden Steve Fiske @ 207-636-1553 or the Fire Chief, Duane Romano @ 207-636-1262 if interested in obtaining a fire permit.
