The Budget Committee will be meeting on Wednesday, December 7th at 6:30 pm at the Shapleigh Town Hall.  

Holiday Schedule - The Town Hall will be closed on Friday, December 23rd.  The Transfer Station will be closing at Noon on December 23th and will be closed on December 25, 2016.

Is your well running dry?  For homeowners whose wells are running dry, there are several programs that can assist with the cost of having a well drilled.  USDA Rural Development here for more information. 

The USDA designates York County in Maine as a primary natural disaster area with assistance to producers in NH.   Farmers in the area can turn to USDA for assistance if needed.  Click here for more information.  

Fire permits - Effective immediately fire permits for the Town of Shapleigh may be issued Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm at the Public Safety Building, 506 Shapleigh Corner Road, Shapleigh - phone 207-636-2211.  Personnel will be available to issue permits if they are not on an emergency call.  Saturday - Sunday - you may contact the Fire Warden Steve Fiske @ 207-636-1553 or the Fire Chief, Duane Romano @ 207-636-1262 if interested in obtaining a fire permit.
