The regular Board of Selectmen meeting for Tuesday, August 30, 2016 will begin at 6:30 pm instead of 7:00 pm. The Town auction will begin at 7:00 pm on the 30th.
Notice of Tax Sale - The Town of Shapleigh will be conducting a tax sale on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Shapleigh Town Hall. **The 53 acre parcel, Map 7, lot 48 has been removed from the auction listing.** For more details - click here
General Assistance Public Hearing Notice- The municipal officers of the Town of Shapleigh will meet at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 7:00 pm for the purpose of holding a public hearing on and enacting the General Assistance Ordinance as amended.
The Town of Shapleigh would like to inform residents that there is a recycling paint program available. You can drop off your unwanted paint to locations in Springvale and soon to be available at the Shapleigh Transfer Station. Fire permits - Effective immediately fire permits for the Town of Shapleigh may be issued Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm at the Public Safety Building, 506 Shapleigh Corner Road, Shapleigh - phone 207-636-2211. Personnel will be available to issue permits if they are not on an emergency call. Saturday - Sunday - you may contact the Fire Warden Steve Fiske @ 207-636-1553 or the Fire Chief, Duane Romano @ 207-636-1262 if interested in obtaining a fire permit.
