“Shapleigh Rescue will provide emergency medical services as well as technical rescue to the communities in which we serve. Its members will provide timely response and transport to the appropriate medical facility based on the patients condition and or needs. Whenever we are called upon, we will be there. When other communities are in need, we will respond.We will be ever vigilant at all times. We will provide the highest level of patient care possible. We will always maintain a high degree of professionalism as well as maintaining respect for the patient and their privacy. We will always act in the patients best interest. Through team work, dedication, compassion and education, we will evolve and maintain a pinnacle position in the field of public safety.”

In 2010 the Shapleigh Rescue Squad responded to 186 calls for service in our Town and also assisted in mutual aid in the surroundin
g communities.
The Shapleigh Rescue Squad is always looking for volunteers.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the Shapleigh Rescue Squad please contact us at 207-636-2211 or email us at kromano@shapleighfire.org. Positions vary from support staff, Driver/Operator, EMT to Paramedic. The shapleigh Rescue Squad provides services from Emergency Medical Services to Technical Rescue to Public Assists.   Shapleigh Rescue News

 

  The Shapleigh Rescue Squad will be hosting community cpr classes. this is a free class to all town residents and 20.00 for all non town residents.  if you are interested in attending a class please email us at heartsafeshapleigh@yahoo.com.  we will also be hosting quarterly community trainings on cardiac prevention and stroke prevention in the future.  more to follow as we move forward to a heart safe community.  Please stop in at our monthly blood pressure clinics which will be held at the town hall on their saturday hours.  for more information please email us at ShapleighRescueEMS@yahoo.com.
