Dear Parents,
Here we are at the last of the year. As soon as the budget vote is
done, we will know more about the classroom configurations and who is
teaching and where. Please bear with me on this, as I know many of you are
anxious. You should be getting an instant alert this evening reminding you
all to vote tomorrow. Please go to the polls! We cannot stress enough how
important this is to us.
As we end, we want to end on a high note educationally and emotionally.
As we come to the last few days, some children are experiencing a high amount
of stress and anxiety and we are doing our best to make sure the days here are
all good ones. If your child is having problems, the only way we can address
them is if we know about them. Please call the teacher, the guidance counselor,
or me if your child needs help with a problem. We want everyone to have a
good end to the school year. We also want the children to finish strong
academically so keep up the good work at home and encourage the children to
finish all of their work and continue to read every night. Your help and
communication helps us with our daily work. Thank you in advance for your
support.
As for the end of the year events, please put them all on your calendar. On
the fifth grade celebration night the fourth grade parents will be helping with
the decorations, the set up and the clean up, as well as the serving. The fifth
grade parents will be responsible for the "goodies" or finger food dessert
for the event. Only parents and stepparents are invited. Please do not
bring siblings that evening, as it is too crowded.
On the last day of school we will have a fifth grade assembly. Everyone is invited to
this event, even extended family!!! Come one, come all on this day. If you have any
questions, give us a call at 636-1751.
We want you to know how much we have enjoyed having your child with
us throughout the year and we hope you have a great summer. We hope to see
some of you at the RISC training in late June!
