Shapleigh Library is conducting a story-time for elementary age children on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. all summer long. FASCINATING COLLECTION
Each month the Shapleigh Community Library features a collection of items that is sure to pique the curiosity of the public.Bill Hayes, Selectman, has loaned a portion of his large collection of binoculars and some opera glasses for folks to view.The sizes vary greatly and there is even one which most of us would call a "spy glass" which is what is often used by ships' captains in Hollywood's motion pictures.
Patrons who stop in to select books, videos, DVDs, audio books, magazines and the like are encouraged to look over the featured collection.
The library is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.; Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. throughout the month of April.Summer hours commence on May 1, 2005.FMI call 636-3630 during the hours listed above.
