Shapleigh Fire Department
The Shapleigh Fire Department, located at 506 Shapleigh Corner Road, currently has 15 members; among them are Fire Chief Duane Romano and Assistant Fire Chief David Boyd. The Department was established in 1958. The goal of the Shapleigh Fire Department is to strive towards protecting the lives and possessions of all Shapleigh property owners.
In 2006 the Shapleigh Fire Department responded to over 160 calls in our Town and also assisted in mutual aid in the surrounding communities.
The Shapleigh Fire Department is always looking for volunteers. Whether you can donate 5 hours a week or 50 hours a week we would love to talk to you. Positions vary from directing travel to receiving the highest levels of Firefighter training.
